We are unique because we offer a wide variety of selection in each of the collections listed above and we offer petite and plus sizes too!

Our Mission is to help South Asian women dress modestly, women who are confident and proud of their ethnic roots, and those who are not at all afraid to carry their culture in their hearts even in a foreign land.

​The Directors:

Merchant Collection is a women-owned business. It is owned and managed by Musarat Merchant and her mother Razia Merchant. It was Ms. Merchant's mothers' dream to start this business. After successfully selling ethnic fashions since year 2014, in September 2021 this mother-daughter duo finally decided to start their ongoing venture on an ecommerce platform (so that it was accessible to all) - with a blend of eastern and western style to keep their brand relevant to world's current and emerging fashion trends.

From a very young age, Ms. Merchant knew she had a passion for fashion and of course playing dress-up was her favorite childhood hobby. Merchant always wanted to do something that she is passionate about, so she turned her hobby into her career. Today, Merchant is a Bachelor of Science in Business and Technology of Fashion. (NYCCT - Magna Cum Laude 2021).

Merchant is known for her unique modest styling on her Instagram @cute_musie. Merchant's family, friends and followers noticed that she has an eye for fashion and were the ones who motivated her to start this webstore from where they can also shop her unique collection.
